ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Karen L. “KC” Collins is the founder and president 

of KC-Drewsome Writers, LLC, where we can assist

others in discovering and embracing the joy of

writing to become a published author. 

KC Collins is a Retired United States Probation Officer. 

She is the author of Where’s That Probation Officer: 

A Day in the Life of a United States Probation Officer, 

Beyond the Clouds: Moving to Perfection in Step With My Savior, Lord and Master and Juneteenth, What Do You Think?: Thoughts on the Initiation of the Juneteenth Celebration. 

When she does not lend her gifts and talents to teaching and writing, she spends her time with her family and the community. KC is the mother of Kaleb and one of the nine children of Virgil & Cleo (Steptoe) Collins, Sr. She resides in Ellis County, Texas.
